We are taking a long weekend trip (leave on Thursday night return on Sunday) to DC in April. This is to celebrate my 30th B-day Anyone interested?

Tentative Dates: Friday 20th - Sunday 22nd of April.

The plan is now set to leave Thursday night (April 19th) and return on Sunday (April 22nd). John is going to check into what hotel rates he can get us through his work for the Thu, Fri and Sat nights. This will give us two full days up there.

Great, you guys are coming to town just as I am leaving. Hate that I will miss your big DC adventures. Let me know if you want any good food ideas, sights, or whatever.

So what are you guys planning to do?

I'm actually off that week for my birthday too (16th is mine).

I'm going to Dollywood on the 13th for Media Day and the I really don't have many plans after that for the following week.

I am moving in March. I am not sure where yet. I will be back to
DC just to visit my sister and then maybe in a few years to live long term.

We are heading up on the Thursday night then spending Friday and Saturday hitting the monuments and museums, returning on Sunday. Your welcome to join if you want but it will mean that an extra car will have to be involved in the trip.

I am tempted to join you guys for a couple days or something. I would go up on my own, though, because I have class Thursday nights and couldn't leave until Friday.

I am tempted to join this trip. I have drove around DC once when SFA opened late one time. It would be great to see some of the historicail things.

You mean I have to put up with Wes for Media Day (just kidding). I guess you are going for 'Troll Network'. I will be there for either CF or Rideworld. I have saw it test the last two times I have been up there for work. It look impressive and I think it will be the ride of 07.

Wes, Dave, are you planning to drive up... be up there or ride together or what? Currently, it's John, Barbara, me and Phil riding up together on the Thursday night (19th) and returning on Sunday evening.

That reminds me Dave.... I've been meaning to give you a call and catch up on what's been going on with you.

I would probably want to tag along or drive with Jonathan and leave with him on Friday.

I would really need though to get back sometimes Sunday during the day since it's a lot longer drive back for me.

Are you guys just going to do downtown are were you thinking of maybe doing SFA? I think they sent the ultra twister to that park, so I'm not sure if they are going to instal it or not.

Well, we are riding four so that taps us out on anymore people riding with us, so you would have to drive or ride with someone else.

We are planning to do DC only. We are not going to do SFA as part of this trip.

It's still kind of ify for me right now either way.

I've got something in April May and June as far as trips already, so it all depends on the ca$hflow.

But I'll let you know if I will be.
