Okey Dokey Folkeys...
I think we need to get in gear and plan a Whootah Crew trip to the Fair this year. I can get us discounted tickets soooooo, I need everyone to post here if they want me to get them a ticket and let's get a date set!
I'll suggest the date:
Saturday, October 15th.
Let me know dates and how many tickets you need. I'll purchase them in advance and you can pay me back. Whoot.

I don't think I'm ever going to go to the fair on a Saturday again. Being in a giant orgy of 60,000 rednecks packed in there so tight that you can't even walk down the midways is not my idea of a good time.

i boycott the fair as well on saturdays. i wouldn't mind taking a day off work during the week. if we could arrange it with everyone

Tuesdays and Thursdays suck for me, but on Mondays and Wednesdays I could head over there around 3 and stay all day. Fridays I am open any time after 11:05.

So what your saying is... Saturday's suck at the fair!
Okay, well, I can do a weeknight after work but that is the earliest I could get out there. How about Thursday the 13th?

Trust me, you do not want to be within miles of the fairgrounds on Thursday the 13th. I will be myself, but that's because I will be at the Clemson/NC State football game that night. It took me 2 hours to get from my dorm to the stadium last year when they played Miami during the fair. The entire area turns into a parking lot.

The 14, 15 or 16th would be fine with me.. maybe I'll get lucky and can get some consective days off during the fair and go during the 'non-crowded' times with you guys.

Oh yeah; another reason you may not want to go to the fair on the 13th is that the fair doesn't begin until the 14th!
What about October 18th (Tuesday) or 20th (Thursday)?

I'm not sure why I suggested those dates above, because those dates wouldn't be good for me at all! Sunday might work for me; 1-4 PM is my alloted slot for the Panthers, though.
