That looks like a good itenerary.

I might be going with someone I know in Charlotte if they let me. Just because I'd rather not drive 3.5 hours to Raleigh if I could help it when I could just drive 1 hours across town.

Well it's official, I'm going to ride with Max and a friend of his up there.

I'm sure we'll see each other at the event or the meals at least.

Man I can't wait for May to get here. The web cam http://www.holidayworld.com/web_cam.html pic of Voyage on hw.com today was just breathtaking. What is that smoke from? On no! Voyage is burning to the ground!!11!!1!!

SOB doesn't even look as impressive as Voyage does. And I've been on SOB *piece of crap*.

Sure Wes. Be sure and try to catch up with us at some point once you get up there! You have my cell # still right?

BTW - I was not impressed with SOB at all. It was the most uncomfortable coaster car I have ever had the mispleasure of shoehorning myself into. Eeeck!

Just an FYI,

The Santa's lodge or whatever it's called near the park is going to run you about $90-$100 per night that weekend.

There are cheaper hotels in Dale, IN which is about 10 minutes away and where we will probably be staying.

Yea, I already booked it and got a little bit of a break. I really don't mind the price. I'm going there because it will be nice to head out of HW at midnight and just slide across the street! :)

Holy SH#T dude! This thing looks too good to be true! The return run looks like something from a classic Traver. I will be VERY surprised if this doesn't turn out to be the best coaster in existance once broken in.

Amazing... obviously FULL of airtime! Whoo "holy crap" tah!

   :)

I am DROOLING. Is it May yet?

If yesterdays pics did not have you drooling enough, here's some more great news for you. Sunday was the Kentucky Rumbler construction tour, but it turned out to be much much more. Everyone got to RIDE, and the early reports are that it is fantastic.

Jeff and Chris from GCI will be running the Rumbler during the event. I've been told that as long as they are awake and there are still people riding, the coaster will continue running. If that means into the wee hours of the morning, then so be it...

Ok...here's the deal now.

The guys I was going to ride with aren't sure if they are going to stay for Beech Bend, and I definetley want to ride that.

So do you guys still have room for one other person?

Is the same plan in place ?? (Leave Thurs, Fri/Sat @ Holiday World, Sunday Beech Bend... Monday drive home)

Also, is the hotel sold out at Holiday World???
