Not a points scale; just how many times I have listened to that artist in iTunes during the week:

Well Saturday I FINALLY wink wink got my DBA CD whootah!
I really am enjoying it every listen. I listened going up and coming back from Ghost Town and it's just weird hearing someone's CD where you acutally know the lead singer. I don't think that's ever happened for me.
Alan I think you really do have a gift for writing songs. I love the way your lyrics unfold and you tell a story.
Can't wait to see you guys at the Cave.

Cave requires membership now, not sure if there is a guest policy.
so you may have to get membership which is like 10 bucks and then if there's a cover

I'll have to get the specifics on all that and let everyone know. I think you can guest people but I don't know what the specifics around that are yet.

Now where did I ever say I was trying to get in free.
Honestly, I think I'll go find another band to be a fan of. Is Billy Ray Cyrus still around?
Anybody want to buy a DBA CD?

Since I'm such a brown noser
I used a DBA song in my Ghost Town vid.
Check it out... or not.

I have a question oh...wait, I'll get in trouble for saying something nice about you.
Uh...well anyway here goes. Is Canterbury Rd a real road? I was just curious if it was something like that's where you and Barbara met or something.
Thanks.

Well, there is a Canterbury Road in Raleigh but I didn't know that until recently. It's a totally imaginary place in the song and the story is fiction. Sorry, no romantic truth there... BUT...
"Yes She Said" IS about Barbara and is a true story. I really did call her in the middle of the night (this was after I had moved back to Raleigh and Barbara had not persued me up here yet) and talk with her just like the song says. I did leave out the part where she said, "Can I go now? I have to get up for work in the morning." That part just made the song less romantic somehow.
