I did some figuring up things, and at $4.00 a gallon, it's still cheaper for me to drive up than ride the train.

Of course if I had one of thost monster SUVs, it would be a different story.

So I'll wait and see. Hopefully gas won't go up much further.

Speaking of gas costs... Whomever winds up driving everyone to Doswell for this trip will be incurring about a $50.00 - 60.00 gas bill round trip. Therefore, I think everyone should kick in some gas money to spread out the cost. I'm willing to drive unless someone else wants to.

Yep, unless something major happens with gas prices I'll be driving up on Friday and crashing at your place if the couch is still open.

I'll be glad to help out with gas to Doswell, as I can't fit but one other adult in my car. Except adult dwarfs.

have you considered a bus? Greyhound has routes i'm sure from charlotte to raleigh where alan could pick you up or to henderson where i could pick you up

yes, your still welcome to stay on Friday night at our place. Of course John's or Phil's places are open as well.

I rode Greyhound from Atlanta to Charlotte once. Wasn't bad at all. Would do it again.

You guys have fun. I hate I can't make the trip. Maybe we can plan to go somewheres some other time. There are plenty of parks I haven't been too (SFOG, for one). As soon as I sort out the pictures of my Busch Gardens Africa trip, I'll have a trip report. Maybe.

Does anyone have any idea what the schedule for this event will be? There is nothing on the Coasterzombies website explaining what time to show up or anything.

They cashed my check about a week ago.
