Tuesdays and Thursdays suck for me, but on Mondays and Wednesdays I could head over there around 3 and stay all day. Fridays I am open any time after 11:05.

I don't think I'm ever going to go to the fair on a Saturday again. Being in a giant orgy of 60,000 rednecks packed in there so tight that you can't even walk down the midways is not my idea of a good time.

There's no flyer; I think it's just sort of a meetup, without any real perks or anything. You get 50% off with your ACE card, but I think you get that with a season pass anyway.

Looks like our ERT probably will be over before it gets dark...

This thing went pretty quickly from 2 hours of ERT in the dark and a catered meal to 1 hour of ERT before nightfall and no catered meal.

Ah well, we will still have a great time.

I just hope they don't take away ERT alltogether....

Only 19 people will be there. Now that's some ERT.

http://www.rideworld.com/boards/index.php?showtopic=1477&st=30 Well, we are all set. Due to the low numbers we have made some changes. Instead of having a catered meal, you will receive a $12.00 meal ticket that can be used around the park at our leisure. We are still waiting to hear from the park r...

I'm planning on hitting Scarowinds on October 7th for the ACE night, and I'll be doing Winterfest of course, as well as the fair. I definitely wouldn't mind going to Dollywood at Christmas again.

No biggie; I probably couldn't afford to go anyway. Perhaps that Saturday/Sunday Busch Gardens/Kings Dominion trip could be in order (maybe for Howl-O-Scream)?

TR: Carolina Coaster Classic @ Carowinds

The ACE Carolina Coaster Classic, or C3, has quickly established itself as one of the best regional park events in the country. This year was no exception, as Scott, Natividad, and Kathleen from the park's PR department, and Max and Robert from ACE Southeast went all out to put on a hell of an event...
