Got confirmation yesterday that my registration was received. Apparently the picnic has been moved to the Rainbow Shelter. Good to see they are keeping with the rainbow theming.

The seats are not assigned. You just get a regular movie ticket, so you have to get there early to avoid being down front which looks like it would be absolutely awful.

Anyway, how does that work at Discovery Place? Isn't that IMAX a dome? Seems like it would be really disorienting.

Pretty great. Takes about 35 minutes usually to get there in the mornings (whereas it would take probably 20-30 driving), then I just have to walk up the driveway to the building. 40-50 minutes in the afternoons (probably 30-40 minutes driving).
