NC State Hockey

The NC State hockey team is a 'club' team, which means they are not an official NCAA team. Basically, it means they don't get any money. They do, however, play NCAA teams, and have been playing very well. I have never been to a game, but a friend of mine tells me they are really fun, especially since you are sitting right behind the glass. The final games of this season before they go to a tournament up north are this weekend. Friday we are watching the Canes game, but would anyone be interested in going to the NC State game on Saturday at 7? Tickets are just $5, or $3 with a NCSU id (I guess that's you, John). Also, since it is not an officially recognized NCAA event, alcohol rules do not apply, so there is a bar. :o Games are at the Reczone.

Sounds like fun but I think we are planning to watch the Olympics on Saturday. I am not opposed to us going to the Hockey game and then back to watch the O via DVR though. What do you think?

It's up to you guys. I'm not really that big into the Olympics myself (except for men's hockey), so I really wouldn't care about missing them.
