Just wondering if you guys were planning on going to any parks this year. There are some exciting things in this area (Griffon at Busch Gardens, Mystery Mine at Dollywood, Ghost Town reopening, and possibly the Zippin Pippin' at Carolina Crossroads), but I haven't decided on any longer trips yet. Right now I'm thinking about a trip to Knoebels (the Flying Turns!) and Six Flags Great Adventure (El Toro!). Possibly some time in New York City as well.
Here are some important dates I came up with in terms of local parks:
March 24th:
-Carowinds opening day
-Busch Gardens opening day
-ACE Spring Fling at Six Flags Over Georgia
March 31st:
-Kings Dominion opening day
-Dollywood opening day
April 13th:
-Mystery Mine opening (not confirmed)
May 25th:
-Ghost Town in the Sky opening day
May 26th:
-POSSIBLY Night of Thunder (not confirmed)
Opening date for Griffon has not been announced yet, but will probably be in April. Early May at the latest.
