ATTENTION!!! - I've been reading their suggestions online and we should consider entering at the African/southern entrance to start. The African animals are more active in the morning AND the African pavillion animals start to get closed up late afternoon. Can we get the word out in time to have everyone meet at the African entrance at 9am?

Well, one thing that is new since our last trip is they now have a Chance Morgan carousel

http://www.nczoo.org/carousel/ :P

There are dozens of restaurants in the area for us to choose from. I figure that around 1pm will be the best time to head out for lunch before returning to the zoo. That should be the hottest part of the day so it will be nice to "duck" out and get some lunch (like my pun?)

Oooooo Oooooo! That means the Zoo counts as a park credit now!!!!

I do not have a problem and I can quit anytime I want.

Also, I'm ok with meeting at Africa.

p.s. The carousel has a weight limit of 170lbs per person.

No credit for me.

Twas fun! Thanks for the idea Wes! It was cool that we all got to hang out and it definitely made it more fun than it would have been.

It was great seeing Jay after so much time also. Phil isn't sure how many pics he took yet but will probably have them up by tomorrow afternoon.

No, just a bunch of extinct animals. I believe the ride is suppose to teach children about endangered species, apparently by having them jump on the animals' backs and go around in circles.
