Phil's birthday party ????

So, somebody has a B-Day coming up july 5 ! What do you want to do about it Phil???

Ya well one option is my mom has offered for us to go up to the lake and have fun on the pontoon boat and do some tubing and what not. However, I don't want to overwhelm my mom and the boat with a ton of people. So I'm thinking a general party at my place I guess first. Then another weekend we can have a smaller thing at the lake. So I was thinking of this weekend the july 7th for the party, but I know that's the first weekend of the month, although it's kind of a holiday weekend. So is John going to jamboree that weekend or what?

Actually, I believe John mentioned that his weekend will be the 14th. The reason being that he knew this was the same weekend as the release of MTG 10th Edition.

So....

He should be here for the weekend of the 7th. Just let me know what you need us to bring for the party and what time you plan to have it. BTW, are you off on Wednesday? Barbara has to work but John and myself are off. Should we do something nutty like hit Caro or KD for the day? It will probably be crowded though? Jon, Wes, what do you guys think?

This would be really insane if it works out. I have spent almost no time in Raliegh my whole life, and I'm looking at my 3rd or 4th weekend in a row in Raleigh!

I'd be up for a KD or Carowinds trip, thanks to my Maxx pass.

The bank is closed on the 4th, so yeah I'm off and have no plans as of now.

Of course it would be ghetto and hot, but I can deal with it to get on Volcano...who needs that silly Italian Job credit...oh wait, I do!

Plus I'd finally get their flyer credit.

Well we went out july 4th to kings dominion, and then on july 5 went out to eat that night and had a bad experience at Chilis. But there was never a 'party'. Reason is mom has recently acquired a place at kerr lake. she has offered for us to come up there for a day. But will be a couple of weeks. Will post here again when that comes up.
