Mark Recchi Traded to the Hurricanes

Seven-time all-star and Stanley Cup champion right winger Mark Recchi has waived his no trade clause, and been traded from the Penguins to the Hurricanes as we approach the 3 PM trade deadline today. The Hurricanes in return are giving up a 2007 2nd round draft pick, Niklas Nordgren, and Krystofer Kolanos.
