There is a little more info to add to this call for entries, which I did not realize. Here is the extra info from library meeting minutes:
Entries will be forwarded to the national contest, sponsored by Lowell Telecommunications. In the fall, the local films will be shown at both SER and NOR. Submissions are due August 1, 2007.
SER and NOR are Southeast Regional Library (Garner) and North Regional LIbrary (Raleigh on Harps Mill). I didn't nkow they were forwarding the entries to a national contest. Here is that link
