I've seen a Canterbury Rd in Raleigh off Wade Ave, and a Canterbury Rd in Charlotte near Cotswold.

Well, there is a Canterbury Road in Raleigh but I didn't know that until recently. It's a totally imaginary place in the song and the story is fiction. Sorry, no romantic truth there... BUT...
"Yes She Said" IS about Barbara and is a true story. I really did call her in the middle of the night (this was after I had moved back to Raleigh and Barbara had not persued me up here yet) and talk with her just like the song says. I did leave out the part where she said, "Can I go now? I have to get up for work in the morning." That part just made the song less romantic somehow.
Cool. I always wonder about songs and that sort of thing when listening to them. Plus I've never actually known the writer of any of the CDs in my collection until this one either. Anyway. Thanks for the reply.
I'm saving this by the way so when you get famous, I can sell it on eBay and get rich. LOL

That would be the one I was referring to. But, not the one in the song.

A little elf sent me a super whootahrific Christmas present!...the Down by Avalon DVD release! whootah!
Was the EP ever put on CD? I really like that song Dessert Sun and would love to either download it or buy it if the EP is available. Unfortunatly I don't have a DVD drive on my computer or I'd see if I could convert it or whatever.

Just remember, I don't want you doing anything that makes me feel threatened by your actions Wes. You must CHOOSE which version of Desert Sun you like... the album version or the EP version. YOU CANNOT LIKE BOTH! don't make a big deal out of it just send me an email indicating which version you want to have deleted from your PC.

I've got 3 of the songs uploaded so far to YouTube.
Keep in mind that I did the best I could. I tried to find a steady place to sit the camera, but unfortunatley kids kept smacking into it or whatever.
One of the ones to come I should subtitled "Attack of the red balloon, cause for some reason I didnt' see this balloon getting in the shot all the time". lol
